Is the assignment that you felt you can do it, to contribute to the society, to make the world a better place to stay.

So, this is today Oprah Winfrey show’s topic. Three different persons, all started with a thought in their mind, out of the blue, and just started to put their thoughts in action. One by one, we have the pyjamas programme that donates pyjamas to orphans, the library programme that donates books and build libraries for poor community and the coupon programme that help the poor families to save thousands on food.

The Unity Band

This is what we called the Malaysia flag, a symbolic of the unity of multi racial staying peacefully on one land.

While the unity band is hanging all over the place in conjuction with the 50 years annivesary of independence. On the other hand, someone is being put in trouble and blamed for stating out facts that many of us would agree. Some other people making misjudgement of the faithful one and are thought of as hero. So if the colour does not and should not make any differences, why are there so many discrimation among them?

Many of us though the ancestors do not come from this land, however, generation after generation, treating this peace of land as their root, their home and never doubt about it. Do not let us lost the faith that we once hold strong upon it, let the unity band fly high and be what it meant.

Thinking of someone special?

This is the tag line of Lightz FM love song dedication. I used to think that everyone has their destiny special one. Not sure if you heard of the story of angel of two wings. It is told that everyone of us is an angel with only one wing, till one day you found the other half, which is another angel with the other wing. The two of you make a pair of wings, and together you can fly. I actually still think that way, and thought I found the angel, but it seems that the angel rather to be alone.

So, they said, the furthest distance is I am standing right in front of you, but you do not understand how I feel for you. But I said, the furthest distance is the distance that you choose to place in between us.

The medication dependent club

Is this something totally strange to you? Or something that you do not have to worry about for a long time?

That was what I been thinking. I thought I am pretty much healthy, compared to a lot of people, even I had some medical condition in my history.

Until one fine day, I was needed for a blood test for some other reasons, and they found the abnormality in my TSH reading. Well for a patient that has half of the thyroid gland removed, this is nothing new. But the reading seem to went off too much from the normal range.

Still thinking this should be nothing serious, so when the doctor announced that I need to start taking hormone supplements for my thyroid, it was like a lighting strike across my head. No it didn’t hit on my head, not yet. While the doctor assure that this is a very normal medical condition and there is nothing to worry about, my brain just keep on thinking of “Oh no, i am joining the medication dependent club at this age? How do I suppose to live for the next 30 or 40 or 50 years?

I have just started the medication today, and will need to do a follow up in 6 weeks time. Do hope that everything will goes well, and the best is I don’t have to depend on the supplement.

Has it been a while?

It felts like a long time since I last blogged, but as I checked the date, it was only 7 days ago and I felt it is like a month.

Why would I feel so. The past 7 days are pretty havoc with many things happened around, so I was busy running around, trying to get myself to gather information, making decision while neglecting those less priority issue.

Well, I am glad most of it has come to an end, while others shall happen according to nature flow now. HOPEFULLY…
