我回来了

这篇文章是在从墨尔本到吉隆坡的回程上写的。

十一个月，感觉上像过了三年。但是回想起，第一次去墨尔本的时候，坐在飞机上， 望着荧幕上的飞程，却好像是昨天的事。所有发生的事还历历在目。

在飞机上，看了一本小说。小说里其中一个爱情故事，男女朋友从中学开始爱情长跑。七年后，女的开始介怀会不会因为这一早开始的恋情让她错过了许许多多的人生机会，纵然她很爱这位男友。另一个爱情故事，男人和女人相遇而产生爱意，但是却因为环境而分开，短暂的相处时间让他们更珍惜与对方在一起的时光。

其实两段感情同样的真挚，却因为不同的处境遭遇，而让恋爱中的人物有不同的感觉。

好像写了许多不相干的事。我是想说，一直以来我都很珍惜身边的事物，尤其和家人在一起的时光。但是这些年来的长期在外工作，让我更深深体验这个感觉。

还有一个小时又四十五分钟，我就回到家了。只想说一声，回家的感觉真好。

How true is this…Well just see what I have done in my 6 days break.

If you like culture and history, you can see musical from one of the many theatres and the many heritage buildings since the gold rush era.

If you like natural and wild life….there are even plenty for you to do…

Sun bath at the beach

Walk in the natural park

Picnic next to the waterfall

Feed the sheep

Or if you like to eat, you can try the variety of fabulous food here…

Lobster, anyone?

Easy breakfast

Or if you have a sweet tooth, there are chocolates…

Or the exotic Australia produce…

There are so much to see , to do and to eat…So they are not wrong when they said “Victoria – the place to be!”

Depressing Spring Weather

Just that you thought weather has started to warming up, this is what you will be getting. Rain, rain and rain. Not a good weather forecast for me…but Melbourian see this as a blessing because water is so scarce here…

Well, well…for the better good, I am willing to sacrifice the little me for this crappy Spring weather.

Returning Home

Yes, I am returning to KL soon, after being posted in Melbourne for almost 11 months. When I started to inform my friends of the return, 8 out of 10 asked me the below questions.

“Oh, are you coming back for good?”
“Why not extend your stay,  you don’t like it there?”

What are these questions suppose to mean? First, I was intended to post here for 11 months ONLY on a project and it was made clearly to everyone that knew me coming to Melbourne. Second, my company has no intention of extending my visa, because the plan was to gain experience from the project here and transfer the skills to projects around ASEAN. Third, why is it everyone will assume me that I want to become PR or citizen in Australia knowing my “pattern” (The history of me abandoning my UK working visa 5 years ago and choose to go back KL).

Have I been away for so long? Or am I not welcome back home till most of my friends now thinking that I “migrated” to Australia? I actually felt quite agitated when people asked me those questions. Next time when I tell you I am returning, just say “Welcome back” with a hug or fullstop. No more silly questions, please.

And I am saying out loud here again…YES, I AM GOING HOME! with a big smile on my face. Do welcome me back… because it could be just a short encounter as I am likely to travel for work again.

Spring is here!

Spring has finally decided to take charge of the weather. It was still cold yesterday night and this morning. But hey, look, temperature rising, rising and rising…Even up to 28 in this coming Saturday…

I shall go to beach this weekend and chuck away my winter clothing =D
